At stake is a quarter final place in the richest club tournament on earth. Before a ball has been kicked, the drama is already in full swing. In a surprise move, Lyon’s hands-on president Jean-Michel Aulas let it be known that United had declared an interest in the club’s newest stars Karim Benzema and Hatem Ben Arfa. "I spoke to Sir Alex. I told him that Benzema and Ben Arfa will not leave in the next two years. We want to build our future on them," Aulas announced earlier this month
