Siena - Reggina
Siena started the season brightly, sitting comfortably in the middle of the table before heading in the wrong direction and have subsequently slumped to four straight defeats, leaving Marco Giampaolo’s job hanging in the balance.
Three of those four defeats came on the road, where the club have struggled mightily this season as they have only managed to pick up a lone victory over lowly Chievo.
The Tuscan outfit are spiralling down the Serie A table and desperately need a victory. Giampaolo’s men gave a good account of themselves in their last two matches and were unlucky not to take any points from Inter Milan and Juventus respectively.
Siena have also been the victims of some plain, old-fashioned bad luck. An offside goal by Maicon doomed Siena to defeat against the Nerazzurri, and in the Juve match their penalty protests were waved away when Nicola Legrottaglie handled the ball inside of the area.
Siena will look to change their fortunes on Saturday evening against an equally struggling Reggina side that sit near the foot of the Serie A table. Siena’s home form has been very good and they will like their chances, but Giampaolo is expecting a stiff challenge from the visitors.

Giampaolo will be without the services of SimoneVergassola, Luca Rossettini and Douglas Riccardo Packer, who are all receiving some work on the treatment table, while Gianluca Curci will miss out through suspension.
