Marseille go into this second leg with a 3-1 advantage gained from the first encounter, in which a late goal for the Russian side kept Zenit's qualification hopes still alive.Zenit have just kicked-off their season with the Russian Super Cup, in which they defeated Lokomotiv Moscow 2-1 to take home the first honour of the season. This will surely prove to be an important boost for them ahead of this second leg and could give them the right psychological conditioning.On the other hand, their only other competitive games in this solar year have been the Uefa Cup games, and therefore the Russian side is far from being in form. However, they still managed to eliminate Villarreal a few weeks back, therefore Zenit still believe that they have all chances of going through.
